What are your cleaning and sanitation procedures?
We have always been committed to maintaining a safe, healthy, and clean environment. As always, all surfaces and equipment that are touched by a patient are sanitized with an industry standard sanitizer before the next patient is welcomed back for their session.
Who will I be in contact with during the session?
What’s unique about us is that we are a low traffic clinic and have always provided one-on-one care. If payment is needed before your session, you will perform the transaction with the front desk coordinator. You will also have contact with your physical therapist.
Should I wear a face mask for my session or wear gloves?
Your therapist will be wearing a face mask throughout the session and we recommend all patients wear one as well. Your therapist will wear gloves if hands-on therapy is required during your session. Gloves are not needed by patients but we do ask you either use the provided hand sanitizer or wash your hands in our restroom before your session.
Are there options if I don’t feel comfortable coming in for treatment?
Absolutely! We offer digital physical therapy appointments as well. These appointments offer the same high quality care via video from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a device (such as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop) with a webcam, microphone, and internet access. If you are interested in this option, reach out to us at 414-856-7044 or firstname.lastname@example.org to set up your appointment.
What do I need to know before my session?
If you are experiencing any symptoms including: fever, coughing, or shortness of breath, please stay home. We ask that anyone who may be helping you travel to and from your appointment wait in the car. Every patient will also fill out our COVID-19 symptom and travel questionnaire.
What else are you doing to ensure patient and staff safety?
We have removed high touch items from our waiting room, such as magazines and snacks. In addition to cleaning and sanitizing all patient equipment, we also wipe off all countertops and door handles between patients.
